Participants will receive, 10 days in advance of the workshop, a copy of the text The Sense of Wonder to read before the starting date (the book is also generally available for purchase, at a reasonable price).
1. Presentation of the workshop, and of the project Seeds of Resistance (Llavors per la Resistència), by examining the artworks from the exhibition.

2. Creation of the fanzine by means of raising questions/advancing premises related to the Carson text, using various techniques of drawing, printing, writing and/or collage.

DOCENT
Irene Pérez (Terrassa, 1975) is a visual artist, mother and eco-feminist activist. A graduate in the Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Illinois at Chicago, USA (2009), her artworks explore themes related to identity, gender, language and education, based on personal experience and using a multidisciplinary approach, aiming to transform her works into a vehicle for generating thought. Since 2017 she has been developing a project called Seeds of Resistance, which took as its starting point the conversations which Pérez has kept up with her daughter, specifically those related to gender discrimination, ecology and politics. This premise, together with the practice of feminist and sensitive parenting, has allowed the artist to continue working on the idea of her previous project, New Universe: Exploring Other Possibilities, modelled upon education as a driver of change.
