Anna Carreras
May 31st at 7:00 p.m.
At ACVIC Centre d'Arts Contemporànies (Sant Francesc, 1 Vic)
As part of ISEA 2022
Interactive installations and generative art invite participants to programme algorithms, construct mechanical inventions or electronic circuits, in order to create audiovisual experiences and artworks in which the audience participates, or which evolve and are never the same twice. How do we digital artists work with digital media as a raw material?
Anna Carreras is a digital artist and creative programmer. She creates generative art, visual artworks created with algorithms and code. She is interested in the complexity that can emerge from simple programmed behaviours, and in how these geometric works can remind us of, and bring us closer to, our landscape.
This activity is part of ISEA2022 Barcelona, the 27th edition of the International Symposium of Electronic Art. Promoted by the UOC in collaboration with the CCCB, Santa Mònica, the NewArtFoundation, the new Hub of Art, Science and Technology from Barcelona Hac Te, the MACBA, Ajuntament de Barcelona and the Department of Culture of the Generalitat de Catalunya. One of the most important international events dedicated to the intersection between art, design, science, technology and society.
