Part of the exhibition 3 MESOS, 3 SETMANES, 3 DIES

Saturday, 16th November
11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
ACVIC Centre d'Arts Contemporànies (Sant Francesc, 1. Vic)

This activity is organised together with the GDT (Grup de Defensa del Ter).

> Free activity. No previous registration required.

Mapping the river follows one of the strands of the exhibition 3 MONTHS, 3 WEEKS, 3 DAYS by artist Francesc Ruiz: the environmental impact of the meat industry, which represents the region’s main productive engine.

The activity will begin at ACVIC with a visit to the exhibition, and immediatly afterward, there will be a walk along the Méder River as it passes through Vic. During the walk, artistic and participatory action will encourage participants to reflect upon the landscape around an urban river and how the river may be used.

Mapping the river is an activity within the ACVIC Sobretaules a la plaça programme, which aims to open the art centre to the neighbourhood and build relationships with its grassroots organisations.

AIMED AT:
People of all ages. The walk is 1 km from beginning to end, following the river through its urban course. During the walk, several stops will be made.
