GUIDED VISIT FOR GROUPS TO THE TWO EXHIBITIONS
ACVic's exhibitions aim for visitors to familiarise themselves with art in order to enrich their cultural background and encourage a critical perspective.
Visitors, accompanied by an educator from the centre, will see two exhibitions which are running concurrently in the art centre.
Carles Congost and Joan Morey have been awarded the Premi de Vídeocreació de Catalunya. This exhibition will show the winning audiovisuals, complemented by other artists' works.
Toni Ferron presents an observation of reality, focusing on the media, the power of media images, and the position of contemporary art.
Reflections up on the body, identity, on what becomes public, link the works of the three artists in the exhibition visit.
EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITY – The public #me
What do I show other people about me? What do I keep private? What image do I present on social networks? Should everyone see me in the same way?
Based upon these reflections, groups will be offered the possibility of taking part in one of the following activities.
Activity lasting 20 mins – A group collage, using fixed images taken from magazines.
Activity lasting 60 mins – Documenting the moment using mobile phones to make an unedited video.
