CULTURE AND ALZHEIMER PROGRAMME
ACVic Centre d’Arts Contemporànies participates in the Barcelona Center of Contemporary Culture’s (CCCB) Culture and Alzheimer's programme, which brings art and culture closer to people suffering from early stages of the illness, as well as to their caregivers and relatives. The programme offers adapted visits to the exhibitions.
This year, ACVic conducted the first guided visit adapted to the exhibition SILENCI/S, curated by Jordi Tolosa, in which people with dementia, and their companions, linked to the association ASHES and the Germanetes dels pobres from Vic participated.
The collaboration is planned to continue during the year 2019. The next adapted guided visit will take place in January, in this case for the exhibition UNDECIDED LANDSCAPES, curated by David Armengol.
