GUIDED VISIT FOR GRUOUPS

In LUX & MATRIX, Rosa Martínez offers a reflection on life and creation, drawing a parallel between the matrix, the dark and empty space where human life is created, and the blank sheet, or empty space, which will be filled during artistic creation.

The exhibition brings together a series of original works in various formats, as well as photographic reproductions, as Rosa Martínez conceives the exhibition as an "index of an imaginary museum". The sample is very broad, with up to 21 different artworks. During the visit, there will be a tour among selected artworks that speak to us about life, death, beauty, environmentalism, patriarchy, the capitalist system, all with the underlying idea of what it means to "bring a world to the world", whether it is a living being or an artistic creation.

PARALLEL ACTIVITY
The chrysalis

Taking the work of Núria Duran, who uses threads and fabrics to build her artistic piece, as an starting point, we will create, jointly, among all visitors to the exhibition, a living element, empty or full, including ideas drawn from the group show.

ROSA MARTÍNEZ
Rosa Martínez is an art historian and curator. She was the first woman director of the International Art Exhibition of the Venice Biennale.
