Artistic project by Alícia Casadesús, in correspondence with poet Antoni Clapés.
Microgrames originates from the need to share the making of something, to materialise a look at nature, at art and writing, and, in general, at the world.
Alícia Casadesús, visual artist and poet Antoni Clapés, maintain a correspondence over four years that has become an artistic journey.
A work that behaves as a totality, like breathing; holding and letting go constantly, in a continuous movement.
Each work is an answer to the other, but at the same time it is also a question, engine and seed for the next. The result of this correspondence is shown slowly, through a path along fields that lead to the hermitage where the work belongs: and it is accomplished over four months to make palpable the passage of time, ritual, silence and individual transformation through art, where the self also becomes work.
This book, Microgrames, published by Llibres del Segle, attempts to make a synthesis of this project, with abundant texts, images and poems.
