WALK AROUND THE PERIMETER #TARRAGONA
Deriva Mussol, as part of ACVic, Centre d’Arts Contemporànies de Vic’s schedule of activities, in collaboration with the Master’s Degree Course in Urban Anthropology, Migrations and Social Intervention at the Rovira i Virgili University of Tarragona, Grandes Runes de la Cup , local artists and cultural agents, invite members of the public to Walk Around the Perimeter #Tarragona.
On October 31st a conference will take place in the context, and then on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd of November 2019, we will take a walk around the perimeter of Tarragona in a new process of uncovering the town between studying its margins and the history of its people.

CONFERENCE
Landscape and heritage in the Camp de Tarragona: analysis and management of cultural resources
Thursday, October 31 at 6 PM
in Serveis Territorials de Cultural de la Generalitat (Major, 14 Tarragona)
Lecture by Josep Maria Palet Martínez, researcher and director in charge of the ICAC, the Catalan Institute of Classical Archeology.
WALKS
Friday, November 1st
Walk along the coast towards Tamarit.
Saturday November 2nd
Walking around the perimeter along the Francolí, Sant Salvador, Sant Pere and Sant Pau, L'Oliva and La Budellera.
Sunday 3rd of November
Walk from the perimeter on the Francolí canal, Riuclar estate, the districts of Ponent and Entrevies polygon.
All walks will leave from Imperial Tarraco Square (opposite the old faculty) at 9 am.

* Remember to come well equipped: with comfortable footwear, water and plenty of food to spend all day. The walk has been planned as an exercise in critical observation of the surrounding landscape, which may last, if necessary, throughout the day until nightfall. If a participant must leave before the end of the walk, they are free to make their own arrangements.
